Design, manufacturing and start up of spray dryer pilot plant with cool wall to produce thermoplastic materials powder

Fruit and vegetable juices have a special thermoplastic property and it is inapplicable to dry them with common spray dryers.

Severity of powder transfer, increasing in settling on dryer walls, hard to store and maintaining are some usual difficulties in this process.

To overcome this difficulties and furthermore because of another properties like heat sensivity and Hygroscopicity, common dryers should be redesign and suitable additives with optimal quantity should be specified.

Basic design, detail design, manufacturing and start up of the fruit juice powder pilot plant dryer (capacity 20 kg/hr) have been done at Fars engineering research center in the course of certain project. Now this project is finished and FarsERC have a technical knowledge of this technology.
